Mushrooms! Beer! Pie! Oh, my! Venture out to the Texas Hill Country for a tour Logro Farms, a “full cycle” sustainable farm at Ceres Park Ranch, home of Jester King Brewery and Stanley’s Farmhouse Pizza. Logro uses spent hops from Jester King to grow delicious mushrooms, herbs, and an assortment of veggies. In turn, the fruits of Logro’s labor become ingredients in Jester King’s beer and Stanley’s menu items.
Ticket price includes, a tour of Logro Farms and Jester King, Logro’s “Sustainable Farming with Mushrooms” class, and a takeaway of fresh oyster mushrooms and herbs. *Arrive early for a pint or two at Jester King or meet up afterwards with members of Slow Food Austin for Stanley’s farm fresh pizza.
